The Returning God’s Gifts 2010 Appeal supports ministries throughout the diocese and within each of the parishes. Below is a summary of these ministries.
Charity & Social Services
Catholic Charities of Colorado Springs is the charitable arm of the Diocese of Colorado Springs. Catholic Charities provides services to those in our community who need help the most. Last year Catholic Charities served 219,000 meals to over 140,000 people at the Marian House Soup Kitchen.

Catholic Education
The Office of Total Catholic Education (TCE) recognizes the value of lifelong formation toward building the Christian community, proclaiming the Christian message, gathering in worship and reaching out in service. TCE prioritizes educational efforts on a diocesan level while assisting parishes and schools with faith formation and curricula development.

Vocations and Leadership
Currently, the diocese has 12 men in seminary. When formation is complete for these men, the diocese will realize a 14% increase among its numbers of priests. While this is an incredible blessing, there is still such a great need. RGG will enable us to reach more young men and in turn help us to open their hearts to hearing God’s call for their lives.
