Sister Catherine Peter Logan makes first profession of vows as Franciscan sister

MANITOWOC, Wisconsin. Sister Catherine Peter Logan made her first profession of vows in the Congregation of the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, on June 2. Father Mark Vander Steeg, Vicar for Clergy and Pastoral Leaders for the Diocese of Green Bay, presided at the Mass.

Sister Natalie Binversie, Community Director of the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity, received her vows. The Franciscan Sisters witnessed the event along with Sister Catherine Peter’s family and friends.

Sister Catherine Peter entered Holy Family Convent from Colorado Springs.  She is the daughter of John Logan of Salt Lake, Utah and B.J. Logan of Sagamore Hills, Ohio. She was a member of Holy Apostles Parish in the Diocese of Colorado Springs.

Prior to entering the convent, she earned a master’s degree from Fordham University in Pastoral Care and Counseling. She held a variety of positions of service in the areas of her degree. She will be residing in Chassell, Michigan and serving as Pastoral Associate and Service Coordinator for St. Albert the Great University Parish in Houghton, Michigan and St. Anne Parish in Chassell.
