SECURITY. St. Dominic Parish in Security and the Catholic Daughters Court Holy Family will hold a screening of “Christ Thirsts: The Miracle of the Eucharist” on March 13 at 6 p.m. in the narthex. All are invited to attend; children must be accompanied by an adult. Snacks will be provided before the movie.

COLORADO SPRINGS. The Confraternity of Christian Mothers will hold two Lenten retreats for women. The first retreat will take place at Holy Trinity Parish on March 15 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Father David Boroff will celebrate Mass at 10 a.m., followed by brunch and a talk at the Hope House. Participants are asked to bring a brunch item to share. The second retreat will take place on April 10 at Corpus Christi Parish from 5:30-9 p.m. The evening begins with Mass at 5:30 p.m., followed by a talk by Father Martin Latiff of Miles Christi. COLORADO SPRINGS. St. Gabriel Parish will offer three grief support groups starting in March: An English-language bereavement support group and a Spanish-language bereavement support group, both on Thursday evenings from 6:30-8 p.m. beginning March 13 and running for 10 weeks. Also, “When A Loved One Dies by Suicide,” a group specifically for those who’ve lost a loved one to suicide whether recently or many years ago, will run for eight weeks on Tuesday evenings from 6:30-8 p.m. beginning March 25. DENVER. The four bishops of Colorado issued a joint statement Jan. 23 through the Colorado Catholic Conference as President Donald Trump signed various executive orders related to immigration and citizenship requirements.

COLORADO SPRINGS.  Bishop James Golka will celebrate a Votive Mass for the Feast of the Holy Face on March 4 at 12:10 p.m. at St. Mary’s Cathedral. Following the Mass, there will be veneration of an image of the Veil of Veronica and other prayers.
